Working with a partner will help your yoga by going deeper into some of the poses, and develop ways of sharing and supporting weight.
Some yoga experience would be an advantage, but also as a positive attitude and an openess to new ideas.

The workshop will explore the themes and ideas of Pip Dickens’s exhibition . It will be an unfolding journey through the artwork, engaging with shape, form, pattern and sequence. Small performances will be shared by participants at the end of the workshop. This is a unique opportunity to invent and perform dance improvisations inspired by art.

The Space Between Greentop Circus Centre Sat/Sun May 19/20 2012 11am~5pm £80/70 
This is an opportunity for both ground-based performers and aerial dancers to come together. The workshop will develop some common ground in the ‘space between’ air and floor
The emphasis will be on play as a creative tool, improvisation, partnerships with the equipment, the space and each other. The focus will be on new ways of working, with encouragement to dive into unknown territories.

Gerry's yoga class is based on a combination of Hatha and Iyengar Yoga; and some dance stretches. It provides an opportunity to focus on the breath and open the joints and muscles in the body in a gentle and playful way. Performance in Co-op Shop window, Armley Town Street Saturday January15th 3pm.
The shop window was transformed by the performers and large quantities of clothes and bras which created a series of highly visual and physical images and moments full of humour and a taste for adventure......it stopped traffic!

Gerry has been creating public dance performances in different sites and areas of both City and other environments for the past twenty years.
